“NDE-2011” at Chennai, TamilNadu, India, during 8-10 December 2011

Indian Society for Non-Destructive testing (ISNT)-Chennai Chapter will be organizing the National Seminar and Exhibition on NDT, “NDE-2011” at Chennai, TamilNadu, India, during 8-10 December 2011, with the theme “ENRICH & EXCEL IN ENGINEERING THRO’ NDE ”.
National Seminar on NDE is one of the prestigious conferences in engineering organized in major Indian cities every year and Chennai Chapter is getting such opportunity to organize the Seminar at Chennai once in last Ten Years.
A grand exhibition consisting of 100 stalls exhibiting conventional and advanced NDT equipments and systems from the reputed Industries, Organizations, NDE Equipment Manufactures in India and abroad will also be held concurrently with the seminar. The seminar and the Exhibition will give an opportunity for the seminar participants to interact with eminent NDE experts from various national and international organizations to avail rich benefits from their vast experience in the field of NDT.
Around 1200 delegates from various industries and technical institutions are expected to attend the seminar.
The organizers (ISNT, Chennai chapter) invited eminent scientists and engineers to deliver plenary talks, keynote address etc., from India and Abroad and expect around 150 contributory technical papers to be presented during this seminar. This will benefit the Science and Engineering Community at large.

As Chennai is now a heaven for Industrial establishments and many reputed industries has put a base here in fabricating Power equipment, Automobile and Aerospace components in a large scale .Many world class automobile manufacturers like Hyundai, Ford, Ashok Leyland which are functioning here now have more interest to strengthen their quality of the components thro proper NDE Methods. Moreover the most of 120 Engineering colleges that are functioning in around Chennai have more interest to introduce NDE in their curriculum. As there is more scope for NDE developments at Chennai, the delegates, sponsors and the Exhibitors are no doubt to attain maximum benefits out of the seminar.
